Savannah is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. I went there twice on my visit here. Had iced coffee and a muffin each time. Today we used the elevator to go up to the main restaurant and when I came down they would not let me use the restroom in the coffee shop. There is a sign rr for patrons, I spent $200 in their upstairs restaurant, I used the elevator to go up to the third floor rr. Everyone waited for me in the coffee sho, taking up space. I will never patronize the coffee cafe again, the girl was rude and itchy. We even had to-go bags from their main restaurant.

Decent little coffee shop amidst the various restaurants and shops on River Street in Savannah. Ordered a hot caramel latte, it was ok.

I really loved the restaurant! It is located in the historic part of the city, overlooking the waterfront and the Savannah River. I highly recommend the filet mignon. It was perfect! Our server was also great and attentive.

I had to place my order, was which very easy, being a pastry to go, twice in order for them to get it right. The first time they gave me a drink. The second time they gave me the same drink again. The third time they told me they didn’t charge me for a pastry, but a drink. Not my fault. They refused to give me the pastry until I repaid. However, they made me take the drink and paid for but didn’t order. Unacceptable! Nor were they kind about the situation. The food is average. Nothing great. Seating is limited. So keep that in mind. I had to basically beg for a bathroom code. Being told it was on my receipt. However, I was never given a receipt with my wrong order to start out. Nor was the other person with me. So, that method is not working. The employees in this business made me feel very uncomfortable and unappreciated. Go somewhere else!

Vic’s Coffee Bar is located at 15 River Street, right at the river, in Savannah. An excellent coffee bar that offers a variety of options. The coffeehouse has great coffee drinks, quick bites, and a variety of alcoholic beverages. Vic’s is in a beautiful old cotton warehouse, which offers even more atmosphere. We stopped by while waiting for our table at the restaurant next door. It has indoor seating, standing bar along in the front, and you can experience the River Street atmosphere right outside. Vic’s also has a nice selection of beers and wines. The pastries are delicious, and the coffees and lattes very good. The staff is super friendly and helpful. My score a strong 4.8.
